As a writer, I spend a lot of time in my head plotting, questioning, researching, and of course, writing. But sometimes, the best way to nurture creativity is to step away from the desk and let life inspire you.
Paris has always held a special kind of magic for me. The light, the architecture, the food, the rhythm of the streets it’s as if the city itself is whispering stories, waiting for someone to listen.
This recent trip was exactly what I needed. After an intense year of change and reflection, Paris offered me space to breathe, to wander aimlessly, and to remember why I love storytelling in the first place.
I came home with a full heart, a renewed sense of purpose, and a few new ideas for the sequel to The Human Trial. Inspiration doesn’t always arrive with a bang. Sometimes, it appears softly, like the first rays of morning light spilling over the Seine.
Where do you find your creative spark?
